Trying to merge mono files I get this error message:

"Error reading from the input files. Verify that they are not locked by another process. No output file created."

What could be wrong? Files are definitely not locked (tried to process copies as well) and set correctly (5.1 configuration). They are all 1 GB 48 kHz 24 bit mono WAV files.
My system is Win 7 64-bit SP1 (NTFS), AudioMuxer ver. 0.9.4.8

It can also be an issue with the Wav file itself. Can you load them in Tools/Audio Conversion and then hit the Wav button (no other options selected). Then try the merge again with the new files. Hopefully that does the trick.
Of course I'm interested in a copy of one of these files. I will send you a PM.

That did the trick indeed - the newly converted WAVs were a bit smaller in size and could be merged.

I figured what is the source of the problem. For audio editing I use Steinberg's WaveLab 7. There is an option "Create optimized Audio File headers" - if enabled, files cannot be merged, if deactivated and saved afterwards, files can be merged.

That option has this description:
"If this is activated, WaveLab increases the .WAV file headers to a value that slightly improves disk access. Although this is a standard procedure, some applications cannot open these files correctly."

I believe this is exactly what is happening e.g. AudioMuxer can't handle the files with optimized file header.
(I sent you the test clips to check)

Hi Pl4yitLOUD,

Is there the possibility that people can create DTS Audio cd's (24/44.1) in the Audioconversion menu en muxes an.Iso out of it ?
I ask this because i got tired of the mallfunction with .cue files.
example: Nero sees an error on line 1 and IMG Burn does burn but my system does not reconize it as dts so it plays as one of the active presets :S

It sounds like you may have a problem with your "system" and DTS CDs, vs. how you burn them. Imgburn burns dts cds fine.

What are you using to playback your DTS CDs?

You must have a digital connection from your CD/DVD/BluRay player in order to playback DTS on your Home Theater. Your player may need settings adjustments to know it should "bit stream" 44.1KHz dts, our the digital connection.

Have you tried any of the dts CDs in our download section?

How can I make the ArcSoft DTS decoder work (in order to convert full DTS-MA to FLAC)?
I installed both TMT3 (3.0.1.195) and TMT5 (5.3.1.144) however Audiomuxer still can't "see" the decoder (running DTS Test in Settings).
My system is Win7 64-bit SP1
