The purpose of this guide is to show how to use the free ImgBurn application to create an audio CD from a list of individual audio files or from an (audio CD) image file.
To learn more about the other possibilities of ImgBurn, have a look at the Guide section of the ImgBurn forum.
Other burning programs (free or commercial) can be used for the same purpose, but this will not be covered in this guide.

Burning Individual Audio Files
This section will describe how to burn a list of individual audio files (DTSWavs or AC3Wavs, more specifically) to a CD.
First of all create a CUE file that contains the link to each of the files to burn. In ImgBurn go to “Tools” and choose the “Create CUE File...” from the option menu.


Click on the “Browse for a file...” icon as shown here below.


Go to the folder that contains the files to burn. Hit Ctrl-A to select them all, or select specific files while holding down the Ctrl key. Click on “Open”.


ImgBurn will examine the files first and will then add them to the CUE layout list as indicated here below.
The order of the files can be changed with the arrows at the right-hand side of the screen (see 1.). Furthermore, the overall gap between all of the tracks can be altered accordingly (see 2.).


Make sure that the options “Prefer Accurate Audio Track Duration” and “Add To Write Queue When Done” have been selected (see 3.).
Hit the “Quick OK” button (see 4.) to create the CUE file and to add it directly to the ImgBurn write queue (see later).
Click on “OK” (not shown) when ImgBurn asks the permission to create the CUE file.
This CUE layout file is now treated by ImgBurn as any other image file and for that reason go to the next section to see how to burn this image file to a CD.

Burning an image file
This section will describe how to burn an image file (ISO, CUE layout file...) with ImgBurn.
In the ImgBurn Ez-Mode Picker screen (main screen), select “Write image file to disc”.


If a CUE layout file was already created (see section Burn Individual Audio Files), the source file will already be filled in automatically (see 1.), otherwise click on the “Browse for a file...” icon (see 2.) to select the (audio) image file that needs to be burned...


..and hit the “Write” button to burn the image on a CD.
